Depending on the area and thickness of what is trying to be removed we can grind 100 plus m2 a day for example if it was glue removal. We will advise of the time the project will take when quoting to ensure there are no surprises.

Question:

Answer:
Yes. Even with our high tech vacuums there is always residual dust. DCS do however clean up as best as possible prior to leaving site.

Question:
How do you grind upto the walls and in the corner?
Answer:
DCS use 5 inch hand grinder attached to vacuums to grind all edges and a triangular tool called a dremmal to get right into the corners themselves.

Question:
Once you have finished the grinding when can the next trade lay the new coverings?
Answer:
Literally as soon as we have finished if it is a dry grind as we vacuum up prior to leaving, leaving a keyable surface ready for your new floor. If it is a wet grind ( this will only be on outside areas, then all moisture needs to be out of the concrete prior to the next works happening.

Each floor is slightly different as it does depend on how much traffic the floor receives. Typically 7 to 10 years is a good life spam.

Answer:
If it starts to look dull but water still beads onn the surface then the seal is still fine and the floor will just need a re-buff to bring back to life. If water doesn't bead, you don't need to return back to the start, it just needs a re-polish.

Customer Review:
Thank you for doing such a great job Dave and Karl! I know having the old and new slab was going to be an issue but I think it gives the house character and ties the old house in well.

Nellie, Rossmoyne.

Customer Review:
I just wanted to give you some feedback on the recent job you completed in my patio. Not only is the final product simply stunning, it was your willingness to communicate throughout the process which I believe sets you apart from the other company's I contacted. Your detailed explanation of the process as well the end result gave me great confidence in that I knew what I was getting along the way. It was a pleasure dealing with you and will have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone I know who is interested in any concrete product in the future. Well done.

Rose, North beach.

Customer Review:
Just love my polished concrete floor, Dave and Karl came in on time and on budget, the floor was a challenge as it was 1970’s and in very bad condition, even the plumber had cut a big channel through the slab for the waste. The boys filled the channel and took five bags of dust away when they had finished. Excellent job!! Thank You!

Dianne, Dianella.
